Black Lives Matter
Office of Community Engagement official statement
The Office of Community Engagement values equality, diversity and equal opportunities for all. We stand in solidarity with people of color and the Black Lives Matter Movement and support the dismantling of systematic racism that has impacted our nation and world.
We are committed to providing a safe space for change and open conversation as we combat the acts of violence against people of color. We have always and will continue to support all students, faculty and staff who align themselves in any way with the Black Lives Matter movement. As we work to bring about change, let us remember those who inspired it: George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and countless others.
