Volunteer Fair

Connect with 30+ local organizations, learn about volunteer and internship opportunities, and explore causes making a difference throughout the Cedar Valley. All faculty, staff and students are invited to attend!
The Cedar Valley Collaboration Forum
When: November 3, 2026

Civic Action Academy
The Civic Action Academy is hosted by Seed Coalition and is the only regional student gathering dedicated to civic and community engagement.
Dates: November 13-14
Location: Wartburg College
Description: Social change doesn’t have to be revolutionary—it can start with small steps to make your corner of the world a little better. The Civic Action Academy is a gathering where students explore how their unique skills can address community needs, inspiring them to turn “someone should do something” into “I can do this.” Open to all UNI students. Students are encouraged to apply to present and/or be a facilitator. Click here to learn more.

MLK Day: Pack the Dome
When: January 18, 2027
Where: UNI Dome
Pack the Dome is back again in partnership with the Northeast Iowa Food Bank and the Volunteer Center of Cedar Valley. Special registration for UNI students will be shared in November.
UNI Day of Service
When: April 7, 2027
Description: Joins us in 2027 to once again flood the Cedar Valley with Cats Who Care as we give back to the greater cedar valley community and beyond.
